Lyrics
Gabrielle
Watch Video Click here
The droplets upon her face,
as they roll down to her neck,
she prays under the night's sky
while it's pouring rain.
She's standing on the fence.
Of what's real and what's pretend.
Gabrielle, you could stop rainfall,
But the dark clouds, you haven't learned to push them away.
You will someday.
The carousel spins in her head.
Often confused by the books she's read.
But she's scared, tired of everything,
and she wants to give up.
The innocence is hard to find,
after all this time.
Gabrielle, you could stop rainfall,
But the dark clouds, you haven't learned to push them away.
You will someday.
Ya' got to change your thoughts before you can change anything,
that's what Mama always said to me.
And I will be here to catch you.
I'll be your angel while you sleep.
Gabrielle, you could stop rainfall,
But the dark clouds, you haven't learned to push them away.
You will someday.

In Mystery
Is it the blood that flows through our veins?
Is it felt in the first breath that we take?
The cells start to divide
And a spark opens her eyes
And the child cries
For the very first time
Is this the moment that defines Life?
Or is it written on one man's face
Or defined by one man's race
Is it something you can see
Or forever held in mystery
If we open our eyes as wide as the sea,
As impossible as that may seem
Will we then define Life?
Is it the wrinkles that lay on our face?
Is it felt in the last breath that we take?
When our cells start to die
And we shut our eyes
When our limbs seem so weak
And our heart stops to beat
Is this the moment that defines Life?
Or is it written on one man's face
Or defined by one man's race
Is it something you can see
Or forever held in mystery
If we open our eyes as wide as the sea,
As impossible as that may seem
Will we then define Life?

And So It Goes....
I wish I knew about politics.
I wish I knew about religion.
I may not know a lot,
but I know the world can go from cold to hot.
That's not just my opinion.
When I buy my first house.
And I raise my family.
All prejudice,
and wars will be outlawed by then.
That's just how it should be.
Are we waiting for a nuclear war?
If not that, then what's all the fighting for?
And so it goes.
Judgment falls, IED's explode,
who is the cause?
And so it goes.
While I sing my song?
What are the facts?
What's right, what's wrong?
And so it goes.
I may not know a lot about sexuality.
But gorgeous is the female anatomy.
And in the world today,
people have the right to be gay.
Ya' can't change peoples' biology.
You want to talk about something that's real?
How about the fact that we kill.
If that's not enough for you,
let's talk about the poor
and starving too.
But what do I know?
Are we waiting for a nuclear war?
If not that, then what's all the fighting for?
And so it goes.
Judgment falls, IED's explode,
who is the cause?
And so it goes.
While I sing my song?
What are the facts?
What's right, what's wrong?
And so it goes.

What A Woman Should Be
We are more than lovers,
we are the best of friends.
Just the way she is,
she's ideal to me.
At times the world will spin
and create a frequency.
If it happens to clash
with the song we sing.
I promise I
will keep our song in key.
You are the water that fills up the sea
You are the breeze that flows
The white clouds that hang above the trees
You capture the beauty of everything I know.
You please my funny bone
you intellectual
and you're sexy more than you know.
You inspire melody,
cause' you capture everything.
You are what a woman should be.
We are more than lovers,
we are the best of friends.
Just the way she is,
she's ideal to me.
She captures everything,
She's what a woman should be.

If I Could Fly Through the Stars
If I paused a rainfall or a sunset
The first foot on the moon
Or a birth in a hospital room
The stars may shine
The moons dust may be fine
But not Saturn's rings
or the Milky Way compares to you.
If I could fly through the stars.
If God said I could create the next world.
If I could determine our fate.
If God said I could eliminate all hate.
If I saw heaven or saw God descend.
Learned the equations to understand the cosmos.
Discovered the sixth dimension holds ones soul.
It's insignificant when knowing you are mine.
If I could fly through the stars.
If God said I could create the next world.
If I could determine our fate.
If God said I could eliminate all hate.

Holy Ghost
This is our fork in the road.
Do you know where these paths
will unfold.
Holy ghost, do you know the most?
Or are you as confused as us all.
I'm swallowed up by the sea.
It engulfs every part of my being.
I'm never sure
if there's fakeness in war,
but the currents are stronger than before.
He wipes the blood from his eye.
And a tear replaces the red.
The soldier says
as he lay there for dead,
"I've never had the urge to live more."
I lie awake all the time.
I get two hours of sleep at night.
'Cause this is the most,
the most televised war.
I can feel the shots at my door.
Holy ghost.
Do you know the most?
I'm trying to understand life.
But what do we know?
She's crying alone in her bed.
Confused by what others have said.
This is the fork, the fork in the road.
Do you know where these paths will unfold?
The gentries will be skeptical.
But our fences will not let their land grow.
It will rain down and flood
and try to break up our love.
We must stop these waters that flow.
An ocean can be between us.
A nuclear blast and its dust.
In our fall-out shelter,
we'll make love all the time.
Populate the world and make it kind.
Her eyes are as big as the sky.
When she opens them,
she opens them wide.
They captivate all the men in the world.
But she always will be by my side.
Holy ghost.
Do you know the most?
I'm trying to understand life.
But what do we know?
I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place,
and this rock is full of disgrace.
This is the fork, the fork in the road.
Do you know where these paths will unfold?
You can bury my music in the earth.
Under a rock,
you buried deep in the dirt.
Like a thief in the night,
I will steal it away.
I will not let it decay.
The warrior has a sharp sword.
And she has made me bleed before.
She says, "...it's like gold on Mars, you'll never reach these stars."
But my blood, I have plenty more.
This is the longest road I know.
That's why I'm walking it, oh so slow.
I carry with me my heart, my head, and my hands.
Is this the raod that will make me a man?
Holy ghost.
Do you know the most?
I'm trying to understand life.
But what do we know?
